Cherokee County law enforcement officials have detained an individual this morning after a BOLO was issued for the subject out of neighboring Floyd County, Georgia. The lookout was issued by the Rome City Police Department and at this point, it’s unclear exactly what led to the situation – the subject was taken into custody just prior to 8:00, in the parking lot of the Country Store on Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff.
