A good crowd turned out Saturday morning to watch Mayor Bill Baker and others jump into the frigid pool water at the brand new Piedmont Aquatic Center. We spoke with Mayor Baker prior to him taking the plunge.
Venecia’s Foudnation is a non-profit organization that provides aid, support, and comfort to cancer patients and their families.
The foundation provides care packages for local residents going through chemotherapy.
We spoke with Centre resident Toby Dyer who participated in the Plunge for his wife Teresa who has been undergoing cancer treatment
