After midnight in the early morning hours today (Friday) a vehicle stopped on County Road 22 in the Piney community with no lights on was observed with 3 juveniles inside.
After investigation, it was determined it was a drug related incident, the driver then drove to a resident on Brannon Court in Centre where the three were taken into custody by Centre Police with two being charged with possession of marijuana 2nd degree.
The two were later released to their parents or other relatives under the supervision of the Juvenile Probation Office. The third was not charged and released to the custody of a relative. Sheriff’s deputies and Cedar Bluff police assisted with the case.
