Joseph “Joey” Matthew Gill, 42 of Centre, born March 28, 1976, passed away Wednesday, January 2nd at Floyd-Cherokee Medical Center

Graveside services will be 2:PM Saturday, January 5th at Old Nazareth Cemetery with Rev. Rick Jennings officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Shane Jolly, Jeremy Gill, J.D. Moss, Ricky Dale Jennings, Matt Mullinax, David Garrett, Kevin “Calvin” Waddell, Josh Adkison.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Formby Gill; sons, Joseph Case Gill of Centre, Canon Lee Gill of Centre; parents, Joseph “Sonny” & Glenda Gill of Centre; sisters, Christie (Tommy) Lewis, Sonda (David) Mullinax.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Arthur & Christine Twilley Gill and Odis & Ruby Morgan Matthews.

Mr. Gill was a native of Cherokee County and was a water plant operator for the City of Centre.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Garden FFA or Lebanon Campground Cemetery Fund.
