Mrs. Peggy Ann Rooks Peden age 77 of Leesburg passed away Tuesday January 1st in Fort Payne.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday January 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Al Young, Andy Young, Casey Young, Joel Early, Jacob Early and Josh Rogers.
Survivors include friend, Bob Peden of Leesburg; sons, Mike (Debbie) Early of Fort Payne and Wayne (Dana) Early of Centre; sister, Joan Young of Centre; 5 grandchildren, Caitlin Potts, Joel Early, Jenna Rogers, Jacob Early and Jillian Early; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Early was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Lucious and Mattie Louise Akins Rooks and was of the Methodist Faith.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Cemetery Fund.
