Cedar Bluff Couple Arrested In Leesburg Driving A Stolen Car Taken During A Home Invasion In Vestavia Hills

Leesburg Police arrested two individuals on Friday night during a traffic stop after the car they were driving had been reported stolen during a home invasion that took place in Vestavia Hills in Birmingham.
 
According to Leesburg Police Investigator Jamie Chatman, 38 year old Kelly Boman Bell was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence. A passenger in the car, 37 year old Jr Donald Voyles also of Cedar Bluff was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence.
 
Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with Bond for Bell set at $81,500 and Bond for Voyles set at $76,500. The vehicle was placed in impound.
 
Leesburg Officer Shane Butler, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Centre Police also assisted in the traffic stop.
