The Cleburne County Coroner’s Office has identified the person whose body was discovered in Terrapin Creek on Christmas Eve as 27 year old Allen Blake Forrister of Piedmont.
According to Coroner Tracy Lambert, Forrister was found in the creek in rural Cleburne County near Piedmont and was pronounced dead at 10:00 a.m. that day.
Lambert said that this time the cause of death appears to be hypothermia. Citing the ongoing investigation, he declined to comment regarding further details. The matter is currently being investigated by the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office.
