A body discovered in North Carolina, December 3rd, is now confirmed to be that of a 54 year old northeast Alabama man. The Fayetteville Observer reported Wednesday, that the body found on a Lumberton road running parallel to I-95, is that of Jon Eric Morris – a resident of Jacksonville.
He was last seen in his hometown November 20th driving a pickup truck that was hauling a kayak. His vehicle was found in Robeson County, North Carolina – however, the kayak was missing.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh is trying to determine the exact cause of death.
