The Piedmont Police Department has been notified by Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown that 20 year-old Chandler Gage Garcia has died at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga TN.
Garcia was the victim from the shooting on Wednesday that occurred at Garcia’s residence in the 200 block of South 5th Avenue.
Piedmont Police along with the Calhoun/Cleburne County Major Crimes Unit and The Center for Applied Forensics at JSU is investigating the shooting as a Homicide.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown and no additional information is being released at this time.
This investigation is still ongoing.
