Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force and DA’s Office Looking to Seize Property of Lyerly Resident

According to Superior Court records, the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force and District Attorney’s office is attempting to seize the property of a Chattooga County, Georgia man.

Charles Lang of a 38 Taliaferro Springs Road address in Lyerly was arrested on a number of drug charges on October 5th, after his home was raided by drug agents.

According to the District Attorney’s office the search of the premises resulted in the seizure of more than four ounces of marijuana, discovered inside a tackle box, located underneath a coffee table in the living room area inside the residence.

Authorities are attempting to take Lang’s .62 acres with an 854 square-foot home.  They also want $2,986 in cash found during the raid of the residence.
