There was a two-vehicle accident, involving a tractor, Sunday morning on County Road 34 – fortunately, no one was hurt.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report Kenneth Free of Centre was on the 2014 tractor when it was struck by a 1996 Ford at around 11:00. The driver of the Ford, who has yet to be identified, fled the scene, and the vehicle was later towed from the location.
The incident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
