The Cherokee County Highway Department would like to notify the public that a portion of County Road 17 near the bridges over Yellow Creek will be closing at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 for bridge replacements.
During this closure all traffic will be detoured except for local traffic ONLY. The road will be closed at the intersection of County Road 70 on the South end and Circle Drive on the North end. It is anticipated that these bridges will remain closed approximately 4 months depending on weather conditions.
