State Senate District 10 Elect, Andrew Jones, will be sworn in Friday afternoon at 4:30 in the Cherokee County Courthouse in the Courtroom upstairs. Jones overwhelmingly defeated longtime State Representative Craig Ford on Tuesday and will fill the Senate seat that has been held by Senator Phil Williams for the last 8 years.
Following the ceremonies, there will be a reception in the Cherokee County Museum next door.
