Summerville Couple Arrested on Unlawful Distribution of Marijuana Charge

A Summerville Georgia couple was arrested in neighboring Floyd County over the weekend on drug charges.  Nicholas Lloyd Trammell, 36 and Kandice Adair Trammell, 33, were jailed in Rome after being found with marijuana which Kandice Trammell stated was intended for resale.

Reports indicate that officers found several ounces of suspected marijuana during a search of the pair at a gas station on Martha Berry Boulevard.

Both were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and the Unlawful Distribution of Marijuana.

Nicholas Trammell was additionally charged with a Parole Violation and Kandice Trammell was also charged with Driving on a Suspended License and Driving without Insurance.  

The pair were taken into custody and booked into the Floyd County Jail on the charges.
