A 75 year old Piedmont man was killed in a Wednesday afternoon crash in Calhoun County.
Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Gary Russell Howard. Troopers say he was driving a 1993 Chevy Silverado that left the roadway on Alabama 21 and overturned. Howard, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident took place approximately one mile south of Jacksonville.
Troopers said the investigation is on-going.
