Loretta Umphrey age 46 of Gaylesville passed away Monday October 29th at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday November 3rd at Lawrence Cemetery with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 Saturday at the funeral Home.
Pallbearers include James Umphrey Jr., Robby Abernathy, Dakota Wood, Jerry McGatha, Jessie Trammell and Steve Umphrey.
Survivors include husband, David East of Gaylesville; brother, James (Amanda Law) Umphrey Jr.; sisters, Tammy (Robby) Abernathy of Sand Rock, Juanita (Jack) Christopher of Gaylesville and Sandy Umphrey of Sand Rock; father, James Umphrey of Sand Rock; nephews, Joseph Christopher, Lucas Abernathy and Connor Abernathy; niece, Chloe Abernathy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Aline McGatha Umphrey.
Mrs. Umphrey was a native of Rome, Ga. and was of the Baptist Faith.
