All proceeds will go to Bain’s family for medical expenses.

Bain Hammett was an extremely active, healthy child until December 2012, when at the age of four, he was found unresponsive and having seizures.

A CAT Scan at Floyd Medical Center in Rome showed several areas of swelling on the brain; Bain was then transferred to Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta where he spent around three weeks in the Intensive Care Unit; most of that in a medically induced coma, to prevent any further swelling of the brain.

This was followed by several weeks of intensive rehab therapy at Scottish Rite Hospital and several more weeks of similar therapy once he returned home.

Since that time Bain has continued to recover and medical expenses are on-going. Bain and his family are currently in Boston, MA where they are meeting with doctors to decrease and hopefully stop Bain’s seizures.
