Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Investigators are searching for a missing man in the Ivalee community. 71 year old Jerry Ray Pennington walked away from his residence on Carnes Chapel Road Thursday morning.
Pennington is a white male, six feet two inches tall (6’2”) weighing around 210 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Mr. Pennington has dementia and has wandered away from his home before.
He was last seen wearing a black Vietnam veterans hat with yellow writing on it, blue plaid jacket, a tan shirt, blue jeans and brown boots. Anyone coming into contact with Mr. Pennington should call the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office at (256) 546-2825.
