Alabama Man Arrested on Felony Bail Jumping Charge

An Alabama man was arrested in northwest Georgia earlier this week – charged with felony bail Jumping and a misdemeanor count for Failure to Appear.  Steven Freeman, age 40 from Sylacauga, was ordered to appear in Floyd County Probate Court last November 26th.

He stands accused of leaving the state to avoid appearing.

He reportedly has Holds issued for him by several counties – including Carroll, Douglas and Polk, in addition to the City of Cedartown.
