The “Ride for a Drug Free DeKalb” is set for Saturday October 20th – at Ft Payne City Park – kickstands up at 10:00am – $25.00 per bike/$5.00 per passenger – that price includes a tee shirt and lunch – all vehicles are welcome. The ride includes a trip through each scenic DeKalb County school district, and the first 100 students that attend the event will receive a special door prize; the day will also feature live entertainment.
“Ride for a Drug Free DeKalb” is hosted by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and Northeast Corner Chapter of the Widow Sons MRA, with proceeds going to DeKalb County Schools to help support the D.A.R.E. program.
