A Cherokee County man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday, charged with being a fugitive from justice.
Jessie Blaze Godfrey, 25 of Centre has active warrants out of Cherokee County for Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Attempting to Elude and a Probation Revocation.
He’ll be transferred back to Cherokee County to face those charges. According to reports he was arrested at a location on Leonard Road in Floyd County.
