No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Sprayberry

Cherokee County Coroner Dr. Jeremy Deaton said based off of investigative findings and the preliminary autopsy results no foul play is suspected at this time in the death of 36 year old Michael Anthony Sprayberry of Cedar Bluff.  Sprayberry’s body was discovered by a farmer in a cotton field off County Road 7 in the Pollard’s Bend community, around 5:00 last Friday afternoon (October 12th).

Dr. Deaton added that final autopsy results are pending toxicology and that it’ll take several months to get those results back. 

Those involved in the on-going investigation include the Sheriff’s Office the Coroner’s Office and the JSU Center for Applied Forensics.
