Emergency crews responded to two separate two vehicle accidents in Centre on Wednesday afternoon. The first occurred just prior to 4:00 at the intersection of the East Bypass and Alexis Road. At least one person was taken by Floyd EMS to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
Just as EMS and Fire Department crews were arriving on the scene of the first accident, a second two vehicle accident occurred on the Piedmont Highway (Highway 9 South) at the intersection of Harwood Hills. It appears that no one was injured in that accident.
Centre Police, Centre Fire and Floyd EMS responded to both scenes, we will have additional details as soon as the Centre Police Department accident report is available.
