Mr. Jerry Weldon McHugh age 78 of Centre passed away Sunday October 7th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2: PM Thursday October 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Shubert and Rev. Leon Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Howell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6: – 8: PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are; Jimmy Dale Graham, Jr. Howard, Steve Garner, Brent Tidwell, Richard Lindsey, Roy White, Lane Stinson, Bobby Brownlow, and Wayne Bozeman.
Mr. McHugh is survived by his wife; Glenda Faye Patty McHugh, son; Terry Weldon McHugh of Centre, sister; Willadean Langston of Centre, grandson; Matthew McHugh, several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother; Shug McHugh and his sister Betty Joyce McHugh.
Mr. McHugh was a native of Cherokee County the son of the late Clarence and Rebecca Godfrey McHugh. Jerry was retired from Temple Inland box plant and was a member at Prospect Baptist Church.
