A three vehicle crash taking place in Marshall County over the weekend claimed the life of a Collinsville woman, and left another person injured.

According to Alabama State Trooper Public Information Officer Curtis Summerville, shortly before 11:00 Saturday night, Carlee Savannah Clanton, age 21, was fatally injured when her 2009 Honda collided with a 2018 Ford driven by 20 year old Evan Diamond from Crossville
Clanton was pronounced dead at the scene meanwhile Diamond was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The driver of a third vehicle, a 2008 Dodge, was not injured.

The accident, which occurred on Alabama 68 approximately three miles north of Albertville – remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
