Ty Cobb, Jr., 69 of Centre, passed away Monday, September 24th at McGuffey Health Care.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, September 29th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 PM Saturday, at the funeral home.
Survivors include sons, Scott Cobb of Adairsville, GA, Steven Cobb of Cedartown, GA, Derek Cobb of Minnesota; daughter, Daphne McKinney of Panama City Beach, FL; brothers, Frank Cobb of Piedmont, Joe Cobb of Centre; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Miranda Cobb; sisters, Rita Hudgins, Brenda Lindsey and Belinda Hawkins.
Mr. Cobb was a native of Floyd County GA, the son of the late Ty, Sr. and Miriam Louise Sellers Cobb, was a self- employed diesel mechanic and was of the Holiness faith.
