There was a single-vehicle accident occurring around 10:50am Friday near the intersection of Alabama Highway 9 and County Road 80 where that vehicle left the roadway, sliding into a ditch.  Early reports indicate that one person may have been hurt in the mishap – we’ll have more information as it becomes available.

Those responding to the scene included the Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville Fire Departments, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Redmond EMS units.
