Danny Lawrence Brown, 69, of Centre passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at his residence.

Memorial services will be 4:00pm Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the First Baptist Church located at 373 East Main Street in Centre. Dr. Eddie Nation, Rev. Melvin Salter, Dr. Jeremy Deaton, and Dr. Ed Miller will be officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm until the 4:00pm hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 300 East Bypass, Centre, AL 35960.              

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elanor Shockley Brown; son, Wes Brown and his wife Kittie of Chickamauga, GA; daughters, Leah Garmany and her husband Jim of Centre, AL and Claire Haynes and her husband Michael of Auburn, AL; six grandchildren, ASA and Ally Kate Brown, Ella and Reagan Garmany, and Emme and Cooper Haynes; brother, Gene Brown and his wife Ann of Ranburne, AL; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
