Centre Police Seeking Information on Woman Using Forged Prescriptions at Local Pharmacies

Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship says a woman using forged prescriptions has recently been making the rounds of local pharmacies.

Investigator Randy Mayorga tells WEIS Radio News that the individual has been using high-quality copies of that same prescription, in order to obtain narcotic medications at a variety of pharmacies throughout Centre. The forged scripts are apparently on the same type paper normally used by doctors to issue legitimate prescriptions. In each case the woman pays with cash – leaving no paper trail behind other than the actual prescription given to the pharmacist – no check, no debit/credit card number, no insurance  information and so on.

What she did leave behind was a photo.  We urge you to share the image with as many people as possible.

Anyone with any information should contact the Centre Police Department, by calling (256) 927-3661.  Any information provided will remain strictly confidential.
