Dollie VanPelt, age 95 of Gadsden, passed away Monday August 20th at McGulley’s Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, August 22nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lauil Thompson officiating; burial will follow in Randle cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors includeson, Steve VanPelt of Gadsden; daughters, Glenda Croy of Hartselle, Wanda (Tommy) Forman of Glencoe; brothers, Alvin Warren, Bill Warren; sister, Kelmer Warren; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace C. VanPelt and a daughter, Roma Angle.
Mrs. VanPelt was a native of TN, the daughter of the late Egbert M. and Janie McAfee Warren, worked at the Big D Restaurant for many years and was of the Baptist faith.
