Mrs. Hazel Lea Steele, age 89 of Gaylesville, passed away Friday, August 17th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 7:PM Monday, August 20th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sanford Deberry and Rev. Robert Steele officiating; burial will be 11: AM Tuesday in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7: PM Monday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Jerry Stone, Chris Steele, Alan Early, Wayne Smothers, Jeff Walsh, Randy Crane.
Survivors include daughter, Diane Ashley of Gaylesville; sister, Thelma Steele of Gaylesville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Steele was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Claude and Emma Bradley Crane and was of the Baptist faith.
