Mr. Lee “Donald” Crane, age 82 of Centre, passed away Thursday, August 16th at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:PM Sunday, August 19th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Odam officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:PM until 2:PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Bradley Butts, Aaron Butts, James Andrews, Tim Abernathy, Billy Abernathy, and Cody McGee.
Survivors include his daughter Regina Shuman of Cedartown, GA. ; sister, Katherine Black of Centre; grandchildren James (Heidi) Andrews of Cedartown, GA., Jessica Andrews of Rockmart, GA., Christopher Shuman Jr. of Cedartown, GA.; He is also survived by several special nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Crane, Lester Crane, and Ronald Crane; sisters, Mildred Crane and Shirley Abernathy.
Mr. Crane was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Leno Crane and Sue Sanford. He worked in textiles and was a member of Demaris Baptist Church.
The family will be accepting flowers or memorials may be made to Demaris Baptist Church.
