A 65 year old Etowah County man was arrested in Cherokee County on drug charges during the early morning hours of Saturday.
Richard Dale Hudson of Glencoe was charged with Trafficking Amphetamines and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was taken into custody and booked into jail at around 3:30am after being pulled over by Cedar Bluff K-9 Officer Chris Vaughn on Alabama Highway 9 near Johnson’s Pharmacy. Deputy Dalton Cosby assisted Officer Vaughn with the search and the arrest
Hudson currently remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $75,500.
