A total of five individuals were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Monday.
Alana Alley-Rae Harden, 19 of Centre, was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and with one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while Jarrod Franklin Ogles, age 24 of Centre, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
Mitchell Lee Slayton, 23 of Leesburg, Jacob Chase Smith, age 32 from Cedar Bluff and Austin Shane Morrison, age 18 from Leesburg, were each charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Harden and Ogles both currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with the bond for Harden set at $5,500; bond for Ogles has been set at $3,500. Slayton also remains in jail with bond set at $3,000.
Morrison and Smith have both been released after making bond, set at $3,000 each.
