Mr. Harold “Fishbait” Brown, age 71, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday July 28th at UAB Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Tuesday July 31st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Deberry officiating; burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday July 30th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Robbie Brown, Randy Brown, Brian Brown, Chris Brown, Chad Brown, Clay Brown, and Matt Armstrong.
Survivors include his wife Glenda Keener Brown, son James (Carla) Brown of Sand Rock; brother Carl (Linda) Brown of Centre; grandchildren Alyssa and Skylar Hopkins; several nieces and nephews; special cousin and friend Winston Smith.
He is preceded in death by sons Kevin Brown and Josh Brown; brother Wayne Brown; sister Melba Cornelius.
Mr. Brown was a native of Cherokee County; the son of the late Leamon and Willie Knighten Brown, and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Leesburg Yarn.
