An 18 year old Etowah County resident was arrested July 20th, and charged with Electronic Solicitation of a Child, which is a felony offense.
Peter Steven Ellis from Altoona allegedly sent sexually explicit messages to an eleven year old female via text (sexting) over a period of several months, until a family member saw the text messages and called 9-1-1.
Ellis was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on ,000 cash bond.
