Little information is being released, however it has been confirmed that a Gadsden resident died, and a Piedmont man was taken for treatment, after both were found prior to midnight Friday in the parking lot of a Hampton Inn in Sevierville, Tennessee – both had been shot.
28 year old Jamie Scott Barron who was found inside a truck, had been shot in the head and 27 year old James Douglas Moyer of Piedmont was found in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Moyer was transported to the University of Tennessee for treatment – Barron was declared dead at LeConte Medical Center.
Sevierville Police say no additional information is being released at this time.
