An Etowah County man has been arrested in connection to burglary and theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Scott Allen Johnston, 44, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said.
Johnston allegedly broke into a residence, located on Jerry Circle, and stole a camera and several rings. The stolen items have been recovered. He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
