Leesburg Police and Alabama State Troopers were among those responding to the scene of a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 273 and County Road 265 at Yellow Creek Thursday at around 9:30pm.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that wreck occurred at 9:30 and involved a 2000 Cadillac driven by 23 year old Alexander Dylan Dill of Ft Payne.
Dill was reportedly unhurt in the mishap, but was provided with a lift from the scene to the Cherokee County Detention Center, where he was booked in on a charge of DUI – with bond set at $500.
