Two Hurt in Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 411 North of Centre Thursday Morning / UPDATED

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, two people were hurt in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 411 north of Centre near the old Egg Plant just after 8:00 Thursday morning. 

The 2002 Isuzu left the roadway and crashed into the ditch along the straightaway, injuring both the driver, identified as 34 year old Amanda Towe of Rome, Georgia – and a passenger – 35 year old Jesse Tapp.

No additional information regarding the extent of their injuries was available.

Those responding included Spring Creek firefighters, Cherokee EMS and State Troopers

That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
