A weekend motorcycle accident claimed the lives of two people in Marshall County.
According to that Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, Michael Wood, age 49 of Madison, was fatally injured when a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck a concrete curb before hitting two unoccupied vehicles shortly before 10:00 Saturday night (June 30th).
Both he and his passenger, 53 year old Judith Mayhew of Huntsville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident took place on Union Grove Road approximately eight miles north of Arab.
According to Alabama State Trooper Public Information Officer Curtis Summerville nothing else is being released at this time and the investigation into the matter is on-going.
