The Centre Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in solving a recent case in which two individuals cut down a property owner’s tree without his permission.  That incident took place Saturday, June 23rd just after 7:30pm when two white males, both wearing beards, entered a residential property in the Big Nose area by boat, and cut down a 10 foot tall Pecan tree.  The boat is described as a bluish-green Bass Tracker.

A reward of $1,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
