A northwest Georgia resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident taking place Tuesday afternoon here in Cherokee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that wreck occurred at 2:45pm on Highway 278 and involved a 2001 Ford driven by 20 year old Christina Leslie of Cedartown.
No information regarding the extent of her injuries was made available; the report did note that she was wearing her seat belt.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
