Mr. Herman B. Edge, age 82, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday June 19th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Garrard, Rev. Lynn Hughston, and Rev. Clayton Robertson officiating; burial will follow in Welcome Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Jimmy St. Clair, Larry St. Clair, Greg Edge, Steve Edge, Gary Smith, Jimmy Hamrick, and Jeff Miller.
Survivors include his wife Laura Margaret Robertson Edge, daughter Delilah (Jamie) Mynard of Jackson’s Gap; brother Orville (Joy) Edge of Crossville; sister Louise (Joe) Ennis of Cedar Bluff; a grandson Nathan (Chandler) Mynard of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Edge was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Herman and Katie Brown Edge; and a member of Tate’s Chapel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tate’s Chapel Baptist Church.
