Mr. William Lee Hunter age 88 of Centre passed away Sunday May 27th at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday May 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ricky Hunter, Steve Hunter, Little Ricky Hunter, Michael Hunter, Danny Cochran and David Moses.
Survivors include son, Jimmy Hunter of Centre; daughters, Mary Waltrop of Centre and Judith (JR) Sanders of Fort Payne; sister, Bobbie (H.B.) Cochran of Centre; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Geraldine Watson Hunter.
Mr. Hunter was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Arthur Shug and Ruth Garrett Hunter.
