Four Arrested in Connection with Burglary/Theft in Gaylesville Area

Four Cedar Bluff residents were taken into custody on Wednesday (May 23rd) of this week, in connection with a case involving burglary and theft in the Gaylesville area back in April.

Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver informed WEIS Radio that Investigator Jeremy Steppes charged 36 year old Sidney Christopher Blevins; Jason Charles Hunter, also age 36; 39 year old Faith McEwan; and Tracy Michaela Marona, age 49, with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft of Property 2nd Degree.

Hunter also has a Court Order.

Investigators also recovered some of the property that had been stolen from a residence on County Road 165, where the suspects were arrested.

All four remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center. 

Bond for Blevins, McEwan and Marona has been set at $7,500 each; bond for Hunter has yet to be set.
