The Cherokee County Lady Warrior softball team fell to the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams in Class 4A on Thursday in the state softball tournament at Montgomery’s Lagoon Park. They lost 5-2 to Wilson in their first game and dropped a 2-0 decision to top-ranked Alabama Christian in an elimination game. The Lady Warriors finished the season at 39-12 in head coach Drew Hall’s first season.
