News Release from Etowah County Sheriff’s Office
Additional warrants have been obtained, on a Southside man, one month after his initial arrest for sexual abuse, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Paul Edmond Acton Bowen, 37, of Southside, has been served with two new warrants for one count of second degree sodomy, a felony, and one count of second degree sexual abuse, a misdemeanor,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
These charges stem from Bowen’s alleged involvement in sexually abusing a juvenile over a period of several years.
“There is the potential for more victims,” Sheriff Entrekin said. “I want to encourage anyone who may have information concerning this case to speak with investigators.”
Bond has been set at $211,000 cash for the added charges. Bowen is currently in custody at the Etowah County Detention Center.
