Three Arrested On Drugs And Stolen Property Charges On Monday

Cherokee County investigators recovered a stolen truck and a stolen firearm while making drug arrests at a residence County Road 33 on Monday, April 30. 

Investigators also seized illegal drugs from the suspects at the residence. 

The recovered truck was stolen from Floyd County, Georgia, and the firearm was stolen from Cherokee County. 

Three individuals were arrested from the scene on charges in connection with the stolen property and drug charges. 

Cody James Word, 34, of Piedmont, Christina Ann White, 27, of Rome, and Jordan Lynn Bryant, 34, of Cave Spring were all charged with first degree receiving stolen property, second degree receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana, and obstruction of justice or giving a false name.

Word was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center for the existing warrants for possession with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a forged instrument, and probation revocation.  All three individuals were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
