A 32-year old Lafayette woman is lodged in the Floyd County Jail charged with 1st-degree cruelty to children.
According to the arrest warrant, Jessica Lorin Visage deprived a child of necessary sustenance and care when she overdosed of Fentanyl at a residence on East 12th Street on April 5.
The warrant stated the child’s diaper bag smelled of marijuana and it was apparent that the container used to store the child’s formula had been used to store marijuana.
